I would spend my money elsewhere. Had a number of issues with this installer, some which are still not resolved. During quoting: Going through the requirements for the solar rebates, "to be honest your house isn't worth more than the limit". Okay, rude. During install: Installer broke some of the roof tiles (understandable). I had provided them with about 15 spares for the job. Nevertheless during the install they must have not realized or not fixed some of the broken ones. During the next rain (a couple of days later) it leaked of course, came through the ceiling lights. Asked them to fix it, they came and replaced the cracked tile but wouldn't fix the ceiling. Over the phone the sales rep (Prins) promised they would but to date this has never happened. Install was in October, and it's now late December 2025. After install: They took a long time to send me the invoice for the work. It was about a month. I actually called up a few times asking if they would send me the invoice. On the day the invoice was sent, I got a call from the sales rep, "you know its usual practice to pay for the services after they are done", just really rubbed me the wrong way with that one considering it was them delaying the invoice. Speaking of delays, because of the perceived non-payment (due to no invoice) they intentionally held back sending through paperwork to AEMO, meaning that the process of hooking up my solar couldn't proceed. Again, it's now close to Jan and I still haven't been registered for solar with my retailer, meaning no feed-in tarrifs and lost money for me. There are plenty of solar installers out there and I would recommend picking a better one.

Four to five engineers showed up and started the installation in a highly organized manner. They completed the entire installation in just four hours! The speed and precision of their work were truly impressive. I highly recommend Shining Solar for their fast and efficient installation and their dedication to providing top-notch service. Kudos to the entire team!

Manny was my first point of contact. He was informative, easy to contact, and very patient. My instructions to Manny changed quite a few times as I learnt more and developed a cohesive idea of my requirements. Manny drew up many different plans for me to fit with my evolving concepts. I particularly liked that Shining Solar provided itemised quotes that allowed me to see how much each component of the installation was costing me. This allowed me to make informed decisions regarding the lay out of the panels and the choice of components. Andrew, Joshua and the rest of their installation team were punctual, polite, professional and very tidy. They have to be the cleanest tradespeople I have ever encountered. I'm no expert, but the work they did looks neat and robust. This was a surprisingly pleasant experience. I thoroughly endorse this team.

Let me start by saying that I have already recommended Shining Solar Energy to 3 other people in that last month. My experience with this company was seamless from start to end. A friend gave me Manny's number who helped me with an appropriate solar plan for my roof space with unbiased advice. Manny always picked up the phone and was forthcoming with answers to my many questions. Andrew and his team were very efficient and done with a very neat installation under 6 hours with no mess left behind, with inverter installed in the garage. I chose a 5KW Goodwe inverter with 10 warranty with Jinko 440W panels and I am very happy with the power output of this set up which is surprisingly close to the theoretical maximum. It was nice to see the owner on a couple of occasions, he was pleasant to speak to and more than happy to help. Shining Solar Energy ticks all the boxes when it comes to Presales, Sales, Installation and After Sales Support and is a great Aussie company. Thank you guys.

After a recommendation from my nephew who had dealt with Manny and the team previously, I rang them for a quote. It was detailed and comprehensive. after some other quotes from other suppliers, I decided Shining Solar was the one! After discussions and a few tweaks to the system plus adding a battery, it was a goer. They communicated with me along the way, confirming an install date for the panels as the battery was "still on the docks". solar panel work was excellent and efficient, with the panels ready to be used once the inspector could come to check (a week later) The panels were wonderful and are working well. The battery came, was installed promptly, and eventually inspected. That to is working well and saving us money on the power bill even at the start of winter !! Andrew the rest of their installation team were punctual, polite, professional and very tidy. They have to be the cleanest tradespeople I have ever encountered.
