After comparing a few providers, we chose OAS Energy and honestly had a really good experience. The team were friendly, explained everything clearly, and the installation process was smooth. If you are searching for the best solar company in Melbourne, OAS definitely worth considering.

I contacted Solar Quotes in January 2026 to ask about solar and battery installation. They couldn't get anyone to quote due to the high demand, so I contacted OAS directly (as they had provided me a quote a year earlier). Resh responded quickly again (as he had done the a year earlier) and we quickly arranged for an onsite assessment from Jay (who was great as well). We came up with a system configuration or 9kW of solar and a 32kW battery (which I thought was bigger than I needed at the time). Their initial installer Electrify Me! messed both of us around and after not turning up on the first day (when the panels and battery were delivered), they then would not respond to any of my phone calls or texts, until 1 or 2 weeks later they cancelled the job (very unprofessional) in March, leaving me with not much time to get the install one before the rebate change of 30-April-2026. Ashlee and Resh from OAS were both great in trying to arrange another installer and we gone the system installed and working well before the deadline. They also suggested GloBird ZeroHero VPP plan, which I signed up to. I am SO HAPPY with the system. We have not drawn ANY power from the grid since the installation and we are now earning money with the VPP plan. The installation was great, and Jay took extra effort to run as much of the wiring inside the brick cavity (which was not easy) as he could and where the conduit was run, it was done very neatly. Even inside the garage, the conduit was installed perfectly and the battery and bollard installation was excellent. Next step is to disconnect the gas after were get induction installed. Resh's recommendation of the 32kW battery was a GENIUS suggestion, as it give us plenty of buffer to run our whole house off the battery and also provides flexibility to add an EV charger at a later date if we wish.

Had battery and inverter in Oct 2025. For over 3 months and many emails not replied to. Cost me over $1000 in grid usage when all should have been covered by solar. No follow up customer service. After threatening Ombudsman finally had a site visit. Fixed in 5 minutes with a screw driver. If they had replied to my 1st enquiry would have saved much stress and unnecessary cost to me. Finally working properly nearly 4 months later. Customer service and after sales disgraceful. Shame as the installation process was very good. Just not wired properly. Also. They removed 2 perfectly good inverters and insisted on new hybrid inverter at extra cost. Found out later that my existing fronious inverter would have been sufficient. Never got offered refund for grid usage that would not have been necessary if wired properly at installation. (Over $1000)

Joel and his team were fantastic. Workmanship was first class and answered all my questions as they completed the job. While the team were slightly more expensive to others the value add was great and gave me peace of mind that I have an excellent solar system installed. Would recommend (we had them complete our job as a subcontractor under Origin)

To be totally honest I was very worried about the installation process, many histories about dodgy installers and companies online. But Online Air & Solar has provided the best service ever from the quoting, application for my rebate and installation. Friendly and knowledgeable staff, I highly recommend them if you are looking for upgrades or changing from gas to energy.
